Abstract :
In a cellular system with mobile nodes having relaying capability, if a mobile node lies in a region where it cannot be directly connected to base station, it can communicate with the base station by multihop path consisting of other nodes. As a result, coverage area of a cell is increased. This paper estimates the degree of cell extension considering mobility and relaying capacity of relay nodes.
