Abstract :
Arming at characteristics of heating-furnace system, fractional-order model and integer order model are discussed to describe the heating-furnace system. Classical PID control method is also studied. Then, this paper presents the PID control method based on fractional-order model. Meanwhile, integer order controllers based on both fractional-order model and integer order model are designed and simulation study is done. Comparing the control methods and strategies of fractional-order model and integer order model, a conclusion is drawn that PID control based on fractional-order model is much more complex than that of integer order model.
