Abstract :
The petroleum industry is a technology-intensive industry with interdisciplinary and multi-disciplinary collaborations, which supported by the information plans such as `the digital oilfield´. Because of the complicated business links, complex data structure and multiple types in the petroleum industry, oil-gas data service always plays an important role in the digital oilfield plan. The oil-gas data is classified by structured data, bulk data and GIS data according to the structure characteristic of data in this paper. For structured data, this paper applies object relationship mapping (ORM) technology of iBatis in order to decouple the degree between program objects and the business rules, which is helpful to the integration of all kinds of oil-gas exploration and production applications in the oilfield. For bulk data, this paper takes a multitude of methods such as data compression, organization, cache and so forth, which focus on solving the performance of bulk data service. For GIS data, an adapter is designed by the standard protocol and commercial API packages, which supports the accessible performance and extensibility. The data service platform has been realized in the exploration decision support software system using C# language based on the technologies above. Since the autumn of 2007, this platform has been widely used in the well plans decision in Shengli oilfield, and got the significant economic profits.
