Abstract
In this age of rapid development, applications may become outdated as soon as they are developed Thus, the need for processes which can reduce the development time, especially for today´s emerging generation of large, complex, distributed systems. This paper introduces a process that guarantees to provide survivability, timeliness, scalability and profiling services, even under heavy workloads, to applications without the need for writing massive programs to provide these services using the DeSiDeRaTa (dynamic, scalable, dependable, real-time systems) middleware. This paper provides two examples, the first dealing with an application that needs state handling while the second has no state. It explains how applications can be brought under the control of the middleware in a few simple steps.
