Abstract
In this paper, we propose a fault adaptation approach using reference governor. The reference governor unit is a reference-offset governor based on discrete-time predictive control strategy. The idea is to modify the reference according to the systems constraints which become more strict after actuator fault occurrence. The effectiveness of the proposed method has been illustrated using a numerical example subject to actuator fault and constraints on the actuator dynamic ranges.
