Abstract
Using the old adage of throwing the baby out with the bathwater, the author discusses the place of technology in the future of engineering and computer science education. Technology can be considered the baby and the environment around technology the bathwater. This environment includes factors such as classroom layout, the equipment within the classroom, the make up of the students in the class, the course curriculum, and finally, the teacher leading the class. We don´t, can´t, and won´t be able to throw out the baby. Therefore, put on your bathing clothes and ready the bathwater. We have a baby to wash
