Abstract
Dependence of the nonlinear-optical periodically poled lithium niobate (PPLN) crystal temperature on laser power in the course of laser frequency conversion was measured using its piezoelectric resonances. Concept of the equivalent temperature of the crystal heated by laser radiation was used for precise measurement of PPLN temperature tuning curves.
