  • Abstract
    Detection of line segment is a hard problem in computer vision, especially the roadways detection in telemetric photographs. We propose a detection method using characteristic of line extension. Most roadways in telemetric photographs are blurry line segments, which have characteristics of uneven width and non-uniform direction etc. This method uses a detection window to move along line segment that is constrained by a set of parameters. A roadway on the practical photograph has been detected by this method, and we got satisfying result.
