  • Abstract
    The paper deals with a comprehensive approach to metrological research on sigma-delta analog-to-digital converters based on a framework of international cooperation. Problems related to modeling and metrological characterization of high performance sigma-delta converters are highlighted. Results of simulation as well as experimental tests carried out on a fifth order sigma-delta modulator prototype are discussed by emphasizing the effectiveness of the international cooperation in efficiently reaching significant results
