Abstract :
In this article, a novel dielectric resonator perturbation for the dual mode bandpass filter is proposed. Using Ansoft HFSS, based on a three-dimensional FEM algorithm, the perturbation structure, which is placed on the ring type dielectric resonator, is analyzed to show the degeneration effect of the higher order mode. In order to demonstrate the validity of the proposed perturbation structure, a dual mode bandpass filter is realized
