Abstract
Modern in-vehicle networks are often designed using grown and iterative design processes, making verification and test very time consuming and often lead to problems late in the development of a new vehicle. Changing the design paradigm to a structured engineering process based on Volcano concepts can lead to better, cheaper and easier network designs. In this presentation the Volcano concept and its benefits for real designs are explained.
