Abstract
This work experimentally quantified the intermodulation voltage powers of electromagnetic interference (EMI). A quartz oscillator is more susceptible to EMI than inductor-capacitor-based oscillators. Thus, this work used quartz oscillators as an EMI transmitter and receiver to study intermodulation on a spectrum analyzer. One of the intermodulation tones was used as a basis for comparison with different transmitter-to-receiver distances and connection wire lengths. The voltage powers of multiple EMI sources were then superimposed on intermodulation tones. The results provided a testing platform for a mul-tiple-EMI-source environment.
