  • Abstract
    Nowadays, the use of multimedia content in e-learning systems is strongly increasing. However, the current authoring systems provide a proprietary media content format, which lacks compatibility between the various legacy systems. Additionally, the indexing and retrieval of these contents are not included. Therefore, several organizations have developed standard to overcome these drawbacks. This paper describes a WBT Model that present an environment for the development and indexing of interoperable and interactive pedagogical multimedia-learning resources. This Model is based on the IEEE LTSA and ENHANCE Model. It uses several IEEE and MPEG standards to provide the interoperability and reusability of the developed content. This development process will mainly depend on the learner needs and preferences in the personalized training.
