Abstract :
In order to successfully reengineer an organization, James Champy postulates that first one must address the organization\´s management approach by answering these four questions: “What is this business for?" "What kind of culture do we want?” “How do we do we do our work?” and fourth, “What kind of people do we want to work with?” These kinds of questions suggest also the concepts Peter Drucker discusses in many of his writings. The present author\´s address describes the Medical Defense Performance Review (MDPR) initiative using the framework of these four questions to show how we are trying to live up to the management portion of reengineering
