  • Abstract
    On the background of coal fire safety training, the script language of Unreal Engine 3 is used to build up a communication interface between UE3 particle system and external program via Kismet and TCP/IP socket, so that we can use external simulation program to control fires in virtual environment. How to choose the property value of particle system and expose the value to the socket, the initialization of the Unreal Script TCP/IP socket between UE3 client and external program, the type and structure in the communication, are studied. Simulation results and analysis illustrate the effectiveness of the interface.
