Abstract :
An image fusion method is presented to sharpen the multi-spectral image using sparse representation. Firstly, IHS transform is applied to multi-spectral image. Achieve new intensity component which takes the method of smoothing filter-based intensity modulation on the original intensity component. Subsequently, the intensity component and panchromatic image are fused their sparse coefficient through sparse representation. Finally, the fused image is achieved by the IHS transformation. The test results prove that suggested method improves spatial resolution and maintain spectral characteristics comparison with some conventional method.
