Abstract :
In order to promote orientation efficiency of flame area in a forest fire monitoring system, this paper proposes a combination algorithm of color property based on CMYK color space and genetic algorithm. It implements and configures M, Y, K elements as the adaptation function factors and uses neighborhood region´s color lower order moments as the features and could gain a accurate primary orientation of forest flame of a frame image in 0.05 s. It will do further verification to the primary orientation of forest flame by color mutual information calculation between key template image and searched window region image. The experiments show that the algorithm has a better orientation result and calculation efficiency.
