Abstract :
This paper has numerically investigated and tested the characteristics of permanent magnet among the w-band six-harmonic magnetron-type slotted peniotron, which can well satisfy the requirement of the magnetic field of the interaction and the reversal field of the larger-orbit electron gun. Based on a permanent magnet system, the main advantage of such peniotron is that it can have much more compact size and lower cost and its operational gap can be greatly reduced.
