Abstract
This paper presents an active vibration control using piezoelectric actuators for switched reluctance motors. An experimental single-phase structure with no rotor is used in order to confirm Finite-Element results showing the efficiency of the piezoelectric elements for this application. Location and design of these actuators are discussed. The experimental results are first given for sinusoidal excitations, and then a Positive Position Feedback controller is studied for the closed loop control, which is necessary in classical use of the motor.
