Abstract :
This paper proposes an analytical algorithm that using of extended model for obtaining characteristics and flux density waveforms in various sections of switched reluctance machines (SRMs). This extended model is based on identification of flux tubes in 4 regions that implemented with the help of MATLAB. The finite element analysis applied to verifying the results. It is shown that the suggested analytical algorithm included accurate, simplicity, convergence, and short run-time of the simulation.
