  • Abstract
    The deficiency of assemblability evaluation method using traditional mathematical models is discussed in this paper. According to the characteristics of artificial neural network, it is proposed that artificial neural network can be used to evaluate the assemblability, and its implementation have been studied. The characteristics and laws of ship block building are analyzed firstly, and then the evaluation model of ship block assemblability is established. The evaluation result of ship assembly time and cost can be obtained using the evaluation model mentioned above.
