  • Abstract
Modern society demand more and more power supply and power security, which plays a decisive role in social stability and well operation of economic. Facing the reality condition of serious shortage of power in peal hour in Shanghai, whole society is focusing attention on the relationship between power supply and demand and analysis of security trend, so it has a especially significant meaning to have a research on power security in the operation of urban economic of Shanghai. According to the character of Shanghai´s economic operation and the reality of Shanghai´s power network; in this paper, we have a comprehensive study on power demand in short-range (2004-2006 year) and mid-range (2007-2010 year) of Shanghai power through utilizing the methods of growth rate, regression analysis, industry structure analysis and electric elasticity coefficient based on fully analysis and estimation on present relationship between power supply and demand. Meanwhile, on the basis of general consideration about the factors of suitable qualification (resource, transport, place, environment protection, etc.) for constructing Shanghai power plant, area load distribution and the planning of power network structure and so on, we have a fully demonstration on the circumstance of power resource point construction in the short-range and mid-range of Shanghai power, and the feasibility analysis of power transmitted from other areas (including Water Power Plant of Sanxia, Jinsajiang, and Sichuan and Nuclear Power Plant of Qinshan). Power transmission of Shanghai transfer supply ability and relationship between power supply and demand were also deeply analyzed, thus it helps to estimate power security in short-range and mid-range of Shanghai power, and prospect on the trend of power security and related solution in short-range and mid-range of Shanghai power
