  • Abstract
With the rapid development of computer technology, these years has witnessed the rapid improvement of the approaches of human computer interaction. How to make the process more natural to the users has become a hot research topic. Nowadays, more and more researchers pay attention to gesture recognition, especially when kinect is invented by Microsoft. Because it is an ordinary and natural way in which we interact with each other. This paper put forward a novel method in which we use an innovative way to abstract and notate the features of two-hand gestures and build Coupled Hidden Markov Models for two-hand gesture recognition. This method can recognize two-hand gestures. Our experiment results demonstrate that it is an effective approach for two-hand gestures recognition.
