Abstract :
Distributed real-time systems make use of special execution scheduling techniques to guarantee that the system response does not exceed the imposed deadline. In this paper we describe a real-time workload model in which job precedence and resource constraints are present. We also propose a cyclic executive-based method for scheduling applications which can be expressed using the presented model, on distributed platforms.
