Abstract :
Milk supply chain is one of the most important activity of the agricultural sector and has important function in the economic scenario The differences in the types of producers, demand for technology standards, low investment, the profile of traditional properties, resistance to changes of owners, cultural barriers and distrust lead to unbalance in the productivity of estates and disruption of the supply chain. The present study proposes an investigation and classification of the dairy chain, thus allowing productivity to be measured thru indicators that supply the classification of producers and best practices for development of this ranking to improve productivity.
