  • Abstract
    For the water bloom of Xiaojiang which is a branch of the Three Gorges Reservoir, we discussed the flow characteristics such as the length of the waterback area and the mean velocity in section along the river of Xiaojiang during the water bloom period. It is helpful for the understanding of the relationship between the water bloom and the hydrodynamic conditions. And based on the under constructing ecological regulating dam, the different discharge schemes´ impact on the flow field of downstream area has been analyzed, and then a better one for the improvement of the hydrodynamic conditions has been proposed.
