  • Abstract
    The resonant system of coupled-cavity extended interaction klystron (EIK) has been designed in terahertz (THz) wave band. The higher TM31 mode is the operating mode of the EIK. The structure parameters of the resonant cavity have been optimized according to the cavity impedance and coupling coefficient at the center frequency of 0.3 THz.
