Abstract :
D2D (Device-to-Device) communication is one of the promising technologies in the LTE (Long-Term Evolution)-Advanced communication network From a system perspective, this technology can increase frequency efficiency of the whole macro cell. From the user perspective, a D2D pair which shares the same frequency resource of CUE (Cellular User Equipment), can cause interference with the CUE in the downlink Thus, reducing underlying interference for the cellular users is important in D2D communication. In this paper, an interference avoidance and resource allocation scheme based on PSO (Particle Swarm Optimization) is proposed to maximize the system spectral efficiency by allowing more than one D2D pair to share the same frequency resource with one CUE. A mode selection scheme is also proposed after the mapping process of the PSO. The simulation results show that cellular service and system performance can be effectively guaranteed by using the proposed scheme.
