Abstract :
Summary form only given. Synchronization of incoming data signals is a critical function that must be performed to enable efficient switching and bit-parallel interconnections. We demonstrate the use of two subcarrier pilot tones as control signals to achieve both coarse and fine synchronization ranging from 1/8 of a bit time to several bit times in a bit-parallel WDM interconnection.
