Who do you Trust? An Open Source Approach To Secure E-Business

The UK Government´s Cabinet Office has reported that, because of fears about security, 48% of consumers avoid making purchases using the Internet. The savings made from e-services are such that this situation can not be allowed to continue. This presentation will outline an Open Source project, which is receiving funding from the DTI and by the European Commission, that is addressing the issues of providing secure, reliable and trusted computing to home users while maintaining compatibility with existing systems.
