Abstract :
A numerical study has been performed to investigate the interaction of jets in a cross turbulent boundary layer flow using the direct numerical simulation technique. The bulk mean velocity of the jet is a half of the free-stream velocity. Turbulent vortex shedding is observed behind jets and is believed due to three dimensional effects. The formation of a separation bubble in front of the injection hole and vortex interactions behind the hole are also observed
