  • Abstract
We developed a portable blood flow measurement system for the elderly to determine their health conditions. This system captures images and converts them into numbers using the laser speckle phenomenon. The measurement system includes a microcontroller, line sensor, laser unit, lens, and liquid crystal display unit. In addition, we experimented by measuring blood flow before and after exercise, to objectively determine the effect of exercise, and determine the patients´ health condition.
