Abstract :
Richardson´s three-order analytical solution gives a good approximation of Halo-type periodic orbit in the vicinity of Sun-Earth collinear libration points, whereas still cannot meet the requirements of high-precision orbit determination because of the limitation of precision. An improved method of periodic orbit determination is proposed and accomplished in this paper to iteratively correct the inaccurate initial values. The main idea of this improved correction method is based on a simulation point of view, which proposes a new exploration of simulation method and achieves a higher precision and lower time consuming. Simulation results are presented to demonstrate the effectiveness of the method.
