Abstract :
Building Energy Management System (BEMS) is IT-based monitoring and control system that provides information on the performance of some or all of the components of a building´s infrastructure. BEMS can save energy and minimize the impact on the environment due to energy efficiency technologies and systems. The most important thing of Building Energy Management is the monitoring of indoor environment in a building by various sensors and the measurement of energy consumption in a building by various meters. We need to arrange sensors and meters automatically, install sensors and meters actually, and develop an automatic sensor and meter arrangement system. In this paper, we propose an automatic sensor and meter arrangement system. And we explain our four proposed automatic sensor and meter arrangement algorithms such as the optimal sensor arrangement algorithm, the sensor arrangement algorithm based on installation expenses, the sensor arrangement algorithm based on user intention, and the optimal meter arrangement. Finally we show our implementation result.
