  • Abstract
Apparently unstructured inverter output currents are analyzed and synthesized by means of analytic functions. The physical and mathematical fundamentals of current-wave forms and torques that occur in machine-driving voltage source inverters are shown. The influence of different pulse patterns and machine loading is predicted accurately with this analytic approach, without the need of time-consuming simulations
