Abstract :
As most of the time mobile devices are used inside buildings, it is of particular interest for mobile network operators to cover indoor areas with their services. In order to reach satisfying indoor coverage, optimal antenna location has to be chose with the aid of coverage prediction. In this paper, ray tracing model and genetic algorithm are used to choose the antenna location, the former computes received power of each grid point, and then the later treats it as the fitness to find the optimal antenna location.
