Abstract
The paper deals with the current findings of the Think Tank group of experts from all over the world working within the program of the EU FP7 project ¿Evolving Future Internet for European Leadership - EIFFEL¿. The Think- Tank is working on meetings where the discussion about major challenges and tussles of the current Internet is contributing to the debate about the future of the Internet trying to provide some answers and identify evolutionary mechanisms for its development. In the on-going work it becomes evident that different views exist regarding the missing parts or concepts of the current Internet network architecture. This paper introduces the major findings regarding the identified challenges and the evolutionary mechanism suggested by EIFFEL Think Tank for the Future of the Internet.
