Abstract :
In this paper, we analysed the interference effects of Korea´s LTE-TDD system by Japan´s WiMAX system using the 2.5GHz frequency band. We performed Monte-Carlo simulations on the average throughput loss to evaluate how much interference radiating from Japan´s WiMAX is imposed on the Korean LTE-TDD system and the Advanced Propagation Model (APM) for calculating the propagation loss occurring in duct. The results of the established methodology can be used as a guideline for deployment planning for LTE-TDD system with an acceptable interference impact.
