Abstract :
This paper presents a novel alternating-phase fed slotted waveguide array with a double-layered feed structure. The tournament-type parallel-fed power divider in the bottom layer and the center feeding to the radiating waveguides are effective to reduce the long line effect. Meandering radiating waveguides are introduced to suppress grating lobes in E-plane. A prototype array is manufactured without electrically tight contact in 60 GHz band. Stable performances of high gain and low side lobe radiation patterns over the band are confirmed by measurement.
