Abstract :
For the characteristics unique and safety, the Biometric fingerprint identification technology is widely used in the security identification systems. However, the current products which bases on the single-core (ARM, DSP or MCU) systems have defects in drivability, processing speed and recognition rate. We takes the OMAP5912 dual-core processor as the hardware platform to maximize the benefits of ARM and DSP and use the new improved Gabor algorithm. Therefore the singularity at the wrong ridge fracture and connection problems is eliminated. The stability, speed and recognition of the entire system rate will be improved greatly.
