Load forecasting considering the regional economic environment

Load forecasting is the basic work of power system. The study of mid-long term load forecasting technology of power system has important practical value and theoretical significance. It is more important especially in the background of intelligent power grid. This paper studies load forecasting from the perspective of regional economic environment, builds a complete set of indicators of regional economic environment, assesses the economic situation of Hubei Power Grid, establishes the load forecasting model with principal component analysis and regression analysis and forecasts the load effectively.
