Abstract :
In this paper a gene expression programming algorithm usually used in impedance identification is modified to perform equivalent circuit identification of an RFID chip. The changes include adapting the cost function to the measured S-parameters and the inclusion of the microstrip line effects that alter the measured parameters but is essential in the measurement setup. The resulting equivalent impedance is compared to other previously proposed equivalent circuits.
