Abstract :
Tabatinga is a SATNEX initiative aimed at defining and designing a DVB-S2/RCS WiMAX system to provide access network services over the Amazonian region of Brazil at Ku band. This paper summarizes the work done on the physical and MAC layer aspects of that system.
