Abstract :
In the paper, the proposed approach to the congestion management after the deregulation of the Slovenian power system is presented. The method is based on the countertrade method where the system operator, based on technical and economic data, decides the optimal redispatch that eliminates congestion. For that, relation between a line power flow and each generated power production should be known. For this purpose, generalized generation distribution factors are utilized
