Abstract :
This paper describes experiments on the inverse GPS based positioning system using 2.4 GHz band radio signals to clarify positioning performance. In outdoor experiments, absolute values of bias error are in the range of 0.68 to 2.87 m. Standard deviations of random error are within 8 cm. In indoor experiments, absolute values of bias error are in the range of 0.68 to 1.85 m. Standard deviations of random error are within 14 cm. The bias error is dominant in the results of the both experiments.
