Abstract :
In this paper, we investigate the use of single-wall carbon nanotube (SWCNT) for a slot antenna which includes array of slots. We consider a square ring slot antenna for study, which is one of the most famous types of slot antennas suitable for conformal applications. The antenna performance is investigated using SWCNT as a material for the radiating element and the ground plane. The full-composite antenna where both radiating element and ground plane are made of composite is fabricated and experimental results are compared with simulations using the CST MWS software.
