Abstract :
The present article describes some results on the ALOS PALSAR imagery of internal waves (IWs) and other oceanic features in the Lombok strait. High resolution of Fine Mode observation of ALOS PALSAR images was used. Parameters of IWs such as wavelengths, a crest length and type of modulation were estimated from the images. In addition, a well-defined front and ocean eddy has been identified within the Lombok Strait.
