  • Abstract
    We investigate the possibility in bubble flows of using an electromagnetic flowmeter to measure simultaneously bubble velocity and velocity of the (conducting) continuous phase. These velocities are different if slip is present. An analysis is presented and an electromagnetic flowmeter with large area electrodes and coil windings designed to produce a uniform magnetic field is constructed
