Abstract
A software tool for the simulation of the received echo of an over the horizon sky wave radar in pulse mode has been developed. The tool accounts for several models of the pulse radar Tx/Rx configuration, the antenna pattern, the electron ionospheric structure and the land/sea backscattering of the Earth´s surface. Some simulation products are presented and discussed assuming the Mediterranean Sea scenario.
