Abstract :
Torsional vibration test is an indispensable section for studying torsional vibration characteristics of engine. This paper illustrates the principle of pulse interval method for torsional vibration measurement. Using this method, a digital torsional vibration test system is set up based on LabVIEW. With the powerful data acquiring system and efficient graphical programming environment, the torsional vibration data of the engine are successfully obtained.
